(19^th December) KERAVNOS Vs Achilleas Kaimakliou 70 - 53

One of the best games the team had in this season and the best start for the second round. The girls showed from the early stages of the game that this was going to be their night. Defensively they played very well and offensively they made lots of fastbreaks (mainly with Georgia Nikolaou). In the second quarter the team showed the same desired but unfortunately they missed some easy shots which gave the chance to Achilleas to get closer to the score.

In the second half, the girls showed more wish to run and they gave a fast rhythm to the game. The girls played excellent defense while in the offence they scored 21 points out of 39 with three-points shoots.

All the girls played very well and they help the team reached the second position in the league. Georgia Nikolaou (scored ten points in the first quarter) had a very good first half. Stalo was the best defensive player, while Sylvia was the top scorer with 23 points. Georgia Konstantinou, Despina and Chara had also a very good second half and they help both defensively and offensively. Finally, Pavlina and Julia played very well and they showed that they are more ready to help the team in this difficult season.

Next game against APOEL in Leukotheo (Wednesday at 6pm) for the Cyprus Cup, semi-finals.
