Lukas can usually learn from a teacher in a typical classroom environment. He is easily distracted. Lukas has some trouble expressing his thoughts. He also needs assistance in social situations.
Language

2. Lukas attended a regular five-year-old kindergarten for the first semester. He attended five days a week for 6 ½ hours per day. A shadow aide who was active in his home program accompanied him. Lukas generalized skills taught at home.
3. For the second semester of the school year Lukas is being home schooled.

4. Lukas will attend a regular first grade classroom five days a week for the 2001-2002 school year. He will attend for the full day. He will start the year with a shadow aide who will fade out over the course of the first few weeks of school. A tutor or consultant on a monthly basis will monitor him. Lukas will generalize skills taught at home.
5. Lukas will receive 40 hours a week of instruction, including school, home, and peer play.
